Oak Beach Thala’s Private Access Beach
Thala Beach Nature Reserve is a deluxe Australian eco retreat with its own secluded beach frontage near Port Douglas. Oak Beach consists of pristine sand and is approximately 2 kms long. Thala Beach Nature Reserve occupies the forest-clad headland at the northern end of this beach. Coconut palms and coastal sheoak trees line the coast at Thala Beach Nature Reserve, and all our guests enjoy private access to both Oak Beach and Pebbly Beach.
Enjoy a stroll along our coastline of coral sand beach lapped by the pristine waters of the Great Barrier Reef.
A beach vacation is not complete without feeling warm sand between your toes and the sun on your face.
PLEASE NOTE: Swimming in the ocean is not recommended between November and May due to the potential presence of dangerous marine stingers across more than 2,000km of coastline in northern Australian waters (Queensland, Northern Territory & West Australia). Two freshwater freeform swimming pools are available for swimming year round. For more information on climate and ocean hazards check out local area weather page
